There is one woman in the background looking straight at me, but no one spared more than a sideways glance at the guy they are pretending doesn't exist.Childish, I say.
Well, maybe not.. any child who could grasp this man's condition and understand what he is doing there would probably care more than the people who pass him.
So much for seeing more on Seymour.

there is a guy (a begger) who has no legs. some one i know once said he was fakeing it kneeling down pretending he had no leggs to help him get some money.
i was disgusted and actually didn't speak to that person for months.
i an unemploied and can never spare any money. but i always smile or say good morning. i show that wile i can't give money i can give respect and understanding. there is a hermit/begger who i never know where he lives but every day he sits under the arch of the bride over the river. he never moves he just sits there watching the river go by. i make a point of saying hello. some times he hears some times he doesn't.
but it sickens me that people with allthe money in the world wont spare a penny or help a guy with no leggs get up.

yeah. but i saw the guy trying to stand. and unless he had both legs tucked up his ass he he didn't have any lowerleggs.
i visited a relitively poor country a few years ago where 7% of the population owns 85%of the welth. as you can imagin this means there are alot of beggers but not allof them truely need to beg. but when over there i gave 10p to a blind old ladyand a starveing kid. they were both so happy just to get 10p that i returned to the uk with a new outlook. and now if i can spare some change i give it away to those who need it. because. seriously what have these people ever done to you to make you not trust them? i've never see a begger blank some one or insult someone. ive never seen one shout or beviolent. they are on the edge of existance. when people so gentle and humble should be at the center

love how this shot and the description makes you think and wonder. not sure if i agree by what all that is said..but it at least makes you reconsider. in this shot alone it doesn't seem like he needs help or is asking for money. just looks like he is sitting there alone..like the people are just standing over there on the street. not sure how it would be appropiate to stare and just assume he needs help, just because he doesn't fit the norm. just saying i hope people can look beside the handicap and see the person first and not automatically assume that by seeying a wheelchair, the person must be needy and/or pitied. not saying that this is the chase at all.. but like i said, it makes you think. sorry for the rant. just wanted to say; i like.

Its not that they don't look at them cause they think he is inferior. Its that they don't know if he will be offended by looking at him(Thats why you should look and say "HI"), or if they don't look at him. People tend to not look at him, but acknowledge that he is there.
