Great tutorial, but there's something I don't really understand.
Is the brush supposed to be made at a certain level of opacity to color over the natural eye color?
If you respond, thank you :].

This is just amazing. I'd love to try it out, but I'm not a photographer and only have a poor camera.. My classmates's DAs are photo-oriented though, they have better cameras and skills and they do eye-shots, maybe I'll borrow a photo from them to try

Well first I would like to say thanks. This tutorial has taught me a lot.
But also I was wondering if you could contact me on how to take the hardness out of a brush. You see, I have been able to do everything except have it glow in the middle... and thats the best part. If you could I would appreciate it greatly!! Thanks again...

I find this tut very helpful but I was wondering if you were planning on doing one for the sparkly bits. I know you alreay did brushes for them but I'd like to know how you do it also.
Anyways, even if you're not going to do a sparkle tut, I love this one and I love all of your work.
It's so pretty

im just a little confused w/ the first step of drawing on the eye. when i use the brush on the eye it covers everything completely (all the detail). i love the effects you get, and i think ill be able to get everything else, but for some reason i can't get the brush tool to get the color on right...
sorry to be a pain i have just been looking for a tutorial like this every where! thank you!

i am curious though do you use the burn tool on the same layer as the coloring layer? i ask cause when i do it on that layer, a yellowish color tint shows around the eye when i use it.
