And so I finally made like as if I'm some pro at using Copic markers.
idk, but I decided to share how I use Copics to give others some ideas!

When using copic markers, can you use regular printer paper?

definitely not. if you do, it'll bleed through and warp the paper like crazy.

they have paper specifically for Copic markers. i use watercolor paper (hot-pressed) but wouldn't really recommend it because the ink dries more quickly then on Copic paper thus you have to blend more faster.

i would really like it to be in copics. its just a manga picture and the character is pretty small though i would like to put some flower petals or something falling in the back round...

If I may ask, what parts did you use the sepia liner on? The black and sepia seem to add the same effect.

well, now I use the sepia pen for all my lineart since the black one, to me, would make the lineart pop-out too much, which I don't like. DX!
but when I made the tut, I'd use the black for dark areas, like his hair and the kunai, and the sepia for lighter areaa, via his skin, goggles, etc.

I got a sepia and light brown liner, and when I laid down the sepia, it seemed to be almost the same color as the black one.
You also used the black one for his eyes, correct?

it depends which company you use D8! for that pic, I used the Copic Multiliners; there's definetly a difference between the sepia and the black if you use the Copic ones. But the sepia from the Micron set is pretty dark, so there's really not a difference between the sepia and the black.
