Tamara and Jarek wanted some photos done in their wedding clothes after they returned from being married on the beach in Cuba. Thanks to `manyk for coming along to assist on the shoot.

This is beautiful but I do have a suggestion for next time you get a bride in one of those dresses, see how the dress comes off her top when she leans back? Next time have her lean into the boning of the dress so that it doesn't look detatched

The wedding I shot today, the girl put double sided tape in her top part so that it stayed attatched to her chest better!!!

really beautiful. you captured a lovely feeling of happiness and comfort here. the colors, white/offwhite/cream are so complimentary to each other, mirroring the emotion on the couples faces. for someone who doesn't like wedding photos you do them beautifully.

The simplicity is what I love most about this photograph. There is such a huge message of love and devotion. Great placement and focus. I love shooting weddings... That's a beautiful dress. You did a really nice job on this, like others have said it looks very professional. I also like that the couple is very sharp while the background gradually gets more blurry. It's a really nice picture. I hope they liked it

OK, this brings up a question I have always had a bout photography as a means of expression;
Is wedding photography art? Wedding photography incorporates lighting, composition, development, and design just like any other photograph, but is it distinguishable as art, and if so, can anyone please explain more about why?

As Kevin said, it CAN be art, but I believe that that determination may lie with the client. Depends what they are up for. When my wife and I were getting married, I hadn't even bought my camera as yet, I just had a love of photography. That love for the art made us choose a photographer here in Niagara that incorporated artistic flair with technical skill. She didn't just log the days events - she captured the emotion and passion of the day. We both cried when we got the proofs back and her photos literally inspired me. Her photos of us were not just artistic - they were art. They made me want to put my vision out there on film. And I have.

i think wedding photography CAN be art, but no more or less so than any other portrait in any other medium. personally i hate wedding photography because it's hard to impose creativity on something with such a specific purpose, thereby making the creation of "art" difficult. i only did photos for these guys because they're friends, and they didn't ask me to shoot on their actual wedding day.

Usually I dont like these kind of photos, but theres somthing pleasent, simple and innocent about this image. The brightness and lightness is kind of like a deseise... sometimes it just seeps into the blackest of hearts to the point were we go "wow, even that is beautiful and sweet"

I like it. It's fresh and you can tell they're pretty relaxed, since they're not in the real wedding, with all the pressure and stress. I like the location and I think I'd marry only to wear her dress
If I had to mention one thing I dislike, I'd say his face is a bit underexposed to me. Maybe a white reflector on the left would have helped. Or maybe ruined it...urmmm.
