An awesome commission by the talented bringing together the Mutant Turtle Heroes of media. Gamera, the giant 'Guardian of the Universe' and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

While the genesis of this commission lies with an idea I've been toying with, for a story that crosses a mish-mash of the various incarnations/adaptations of the two franchises together (involving, if it isn't obvious now, my recent 'Mutated Gyaos ' submission), I opted to go with a crossover between Gamera and the 2003 animated Turtles.

While I love the 80's cartoon in all it's cheesiness and nostalgia, and the 2012 cartoon has it's definite strong points, this is the version of the Ninja Turtles that (IMHO) best encapsulated what they are. Like how I view the 90's Gamera as well.

did a superb job with this. Especially like how Mikey is geeking out about Gamera.

What are these awesome heroes staring at? Well that's gonna be a commission for another day.
