Sylvain (or so I shall call you from today, because every time I mention you to my mates, I call you "Sykosan"), this is quite a film! The imagery is stunning. Great use of animated shadows too! I love your 2D/3D looking animations, but to imagine that you did this back in 2002?? That's something! Much respect for you and your craft.

Oh gosh yes, that was a while ago. And to be honest I haven't made another short film since then. It's killing me I gotta say. I'm starting to think that I need to get a job outside of animation to start doing my own thing again. Time will tell. Glad you dig man.

Trust me, I know the sentiments. As is why I said, "Now or never," to myself a month ago, and am finally making my film! When you get back to it, you got the whole world on your side man. Your skills don't lie!

Tu as réussit à trouver un métier ?

I have a short attention span...but I'm glad I stuck with the film. The alien surprised me - or should I say the 'nonhuman' surprised me, humans could've been the aliens there... >,< Anyway, it was a good twist and I liked the beauty of the film. I agree with ZeroMidnight - definitely breathtaking!

This reminds me a little of the opening sequence of Kaze no Tani no Naushika: very nice, the smooth animation, colours and isolation gives me chills.

I love the shooting stars
Nice animation, nice colours. Question: what exactly is the story about? why does the alien go to an abandoned space craft (?) ? did they crash there and the others died?
Hehe. Keep up your good work!

It's an alien who finds a wrecked human spacecraft for the first time.
