Greetings my deviant friends, here I-have you with another part of my personal project, Aliens Data, where I talk about the species of Aliens or Xenomorphs, and in this case, I bring you another one of the newest alien subtypes that appeared for the first time in the video game Aliens Fireteam:

Spitter: Do you remember the dilophosaurus?, the dinosaurs that spit poison in the Jurrasic Park movie? Well, let's say it's the same only as the Xenomorph version. Like alien / xenomorph Prowler, not much information is known about this strange subtype, Many theories of its possible origin have been made, since it was simply born that way or was genetically modified by the queen or in some experiment by humans. This creature has the posture of a kind of theropod, its protrusions on its back look like spikes that tubes, has some parts of their bodies with a purple coloration or in some cases red-brown, and it don't have a spike or dagger at the end of their tale like the rest of it sibilings usually have.

Like the rest of the xenomorphs, what draws its attention is its head: it is elongated but unlike other xenomorphs, it ends in a circular beak and on its neck it has several sacs filled with acid. As you know, Xenomorphs have acid instead of blood throughout their system and there were some cases, such as the alien drones, that were capable of spitting acid through their mouths, however this alien makes it more fluid, faster and longer distances.

Now, like all xenomorphs, the alien Spitter has weaknesses, to begin with this alien prefers to attack its victims from a distance than in close combat, that is, it does not have much experience fighting and its body is very sensitive to high-caliber weapons.
