Description
Ironically, Pyro is the closest thing my series has to a traditional "hero"; as between his quest for knowledge and his journey to redemption he's really the only character in my main cast to undergo a genuine character arc. Orphaned as an egg he grew from a lost hatchling shunned by his own kind into a obedient servant to a power-hungry madman only to cast off his shackles and usurp his master to become the new great evil of the land until many a millennia later he finally decided to relinquish his villainous past and make amends for his countless misdeeds. Yet beneath all the tragedy that has plagued him all his life Pyro still retains the wide-eyed wonder of an impressionable idealist hungry for adventure and new experiences...which is really just a poetic way to say he's a big ol' nerdy man-child.
