Wicked Lady was challenging to say the least. The first challenge being finding the right materials to bring her to life. Second being working with silk velvet >< My sewing machine did not appreciate it. And of course you can't forget the wig! But I'm really proud of how it all turned out. Loved your very sexy cosplay outfit of Black Lady from Sailor Moon, very detailed outfit and it fits you like a glove and the makeup is perfect. You're the best & sexiest cosplay of Black Lady I’ve seen, you done Black Lady justice. I am also pleased that you showed off your long lovely legs by wearing your glossy, nude pantyhose with your black stiletto high heel shoes instead of being bare legged. At first, I was not sure if I liked the velvet, but after a while it grew on me. Totally a good fabric choice.
As a fellow "scallop hem" maker, I wonder if I might ask how you went about yours? Wondering if there is a better method than sewing them in, flipping them right side out and topstitching... so bothersome...

I spent a long amount of time pondering what fabric would be appropriate for Wicked Lady, and after loads of time spent staring at pictures, I realized the only way to get the gleam of red over black in a matte fabric was to use velvet. However, not all velvet is created equal, and this particular one is Silk Velvet (amazingly soft, and a pain to sew ><). I don't think another fabric would have had the effect i was going for.
Oh the scallop hem! I used the sew, flip, topstitch method. There really is no better way to do them (which definitely makes them a pain and a half with slippery silk velvet). Just don't be afraid to go back and redo parts, as well as drawing out the scallops before hand. I really do wish there was an easier way... but alas, I have not found it.

Truly amazing, Wicked Lady is a hard character to deal with, going from somethng so innocent to dare I say, evil? Is an amazing feat, besides her outfit must have been a hassle to deal with.
My only question is about Dark Luna P, plaster right?

Thank you! I know what you mean by the crappy Black Lady cosplays. I actually saw a few at Otakon. It makes me sad, which is why I wanted to do a good Black Lady cosplay for once. I'm really happy with how it turned out. And I might even be making improvements to my wig for the next time I decide to be evil. >D
