You already said pretty much everything I could've. Especially when they didn't really do anything with it. Nothing in the story suggests there was any reason he needed a transformation at all, let alone this new one.

D'oh! Why did I never think of this? Hatchihyak and Bebi are both Machine Mutants created by the Tsufurians. I never thought of actually giving Hatchihyak a purpose related to Bebi.

I'm curious. Why are you gonna mix the Hatchiyack stuff with the Baby saga instead in the 10 day waiting period? It's a nice idea, but the "Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans" games had SO MUCH to work with XP (mutant monsters, different forms, the fairy, etc.)

Why does the PTETS content have to be in the Cell Arc for all that material to be included (not that I am including all of it)? Shifting it to the GT era has the characters already in space, removes the potential Cell Arc "waiting period clutter" with things like Hatchihyack and Broli while Cell just stands there, it's not limited to 10 days to tell the story and can use whatever pacing it likes,Β it doesn't require the series to rehash the same plot two times, etc.

A shame, going with all the Tsufuru stuff behind his origin, he could have made a good GT villain instead of possessing Vegeta again.

I gave him pretty decent lore I think, but I'm not really sure how I'd extend up as a full arc length villain without drastically altering his character. I feel like the final villain needs to be around for a little while instead of just the final fight, but he doesn't really have much of a personality. He's basically just Broli without yelling Kakarotto. At least Bebi hopping from character to character can add something to the plot and emotions...
Bebi Hatchihyack would have been a nice twist, but also very stupid in terms of trying to work that out.

Well, Bebi could be Raichi's son which only furthers his reason for revenge on the Saiyans and with the goopy like state he was able to become in GT, I don't see why he couldn't slither on in to the big pink computer with legs's and take control. Being Tsufuru I'd imagine ol' Hatchy would have no issue with being controlled by him. Bebi could pilot him like a mech of sorts.Β

I'm talking more about the logical story progression of getting Hatchihyack to Earth before they'd manage to merge.Β The whole scenario just seems like something that, if it were to happen naturally, would occur on their home base planet when Hatchihyack is first awakened and Bebi released. They're already both right there, andΒ Bebi Hatchihyack wouldΒ probably be final villain material in concept (ultimate combination of the two most advanced Tsufruian technologies). I just can't see the big guy acting as a bodyguard and following Bebi around for most of an arc (the combination would be too much like Nappa and Vegeta as well)...and I'm not sure I want Mobile Machine Mutant Suit Hatchihyack to be a thing. It's a fairly logical color scheme, and is probably pretty close to the colors an official Bebi Hatchihyack would use. I just don't think they go all that wellΒ together. At least, not in the kind of combinations Hatchihyack's body design would generally allow for.
