I study Political Science and I couldn't help but notice the similarity between Bush and Charles and Obama and Lelouch.Britannia- has attacked Japan not to show that they are enlightened, but for sakuradite.
America- has attacked Iraq not to bring democracy but to fatten itself with oil.
This is meant to be a political satire but in a humorous way.

Completely untrue. All the US would have to do is to cut a back room deal with Saddam and we would have Iraq oil for cheap. Instead, we fought a war to oust the Iraqi dictator at our expense (Iraq doesn't have to pay a dime back) and they get to charge the US top dollar for their oil. The US did it for political reasons. Not to bring democracy per se but to create additional allies in the Middle East against Iran and against Islamic terrorists. If you think this a bad idea and that we should have left Iraq alone, that's fine. I tend to favor non-interventionism. But don't damn Bush for something he didn't do. George W Bush's war for oil is a myth. War for nation building is factual.

I like it. People who say Lelouch is better than Obama clearly don't know what politics is like and need a reality check. Lelouch is an anime character! He is meant to be perfect and live in a simple world, not to have complex political decisions to make!

This fan art is wrong on some many levels. Bush at his worst is still better than Charles at his best, and Obama isn't fit to even clean Lelouch's shoes let along be compared to him.

nope, afraid he isn't, but the idea behind Code Geass is similar to the time America is living in today. In both cases, the old are percieved as corrupt and the young feel that they cannot do anything about it. the American people voted in Barack Obama as the 44th President and Britannia was forced to accept Lelouch as the 99th Emperor.
