Illustrated by the talented and amazing .Aen did a great job helping me recreate and redesign the look I always had pictured in my head. This is MoonHawk and how he should like. It blends the Persian/Middle Eastern theme with the classic superhero attire, creating a new look that makes MoonHawk unique and original.
I had previous artists help me in the past, which I am very grateful and lucky to have their talent, but it is an amazing feeling to have a character you created take on the life of its own. MoonHawk has evolved so much in the past couple of years, and I am proud to say he is one of my favorite creative own characters.
What are your thoughts? Do you like the look? I love input and feedback.

Hi. I like your design here above pretty much. It's original. The second you did in 2013, drawn by AenTheArtist, is cool too, but it's too much "alike" (symbol like batman begins, etc...), I feel it takes less risk, the design is less opinionated, if what I'm saying makes sense anyhow. The persian/middle east vibe is the best idea for me. Same for the bag on the back. This is a real alternative to the allmighty batbelt, I think it's great to think outside the box.
The Moonhawk commission you have (black/grey and whiteguy) is the same character ? If yes, I find this one above really an improvement, I have the feeling your character, and you maybe as well, gained maturity in the process, didn't he?
Don't you have a short story for him somewhere, or did I miss it ? I would enjoy reading a bit what he is, where he comes from, etc...

So, now Moonhawk is not an African American character?
I completely don't mind with the Persian/Middle Eastern theme on the main character. (I think the name 'Kapoor' sounds more India than Middle Eastern though!). But the costume's long sash is somehow ... unnecessary. I'd rather use something more simple on the belt, instead of long sash. His enemy will have the advantage of grabbing his sash to get him to them. My humble personal opinion, though.
Overall, looks good to me. What's the use of an alternate mask, anyway?

Nope. He is half Persian and half Israeli with the Hindu belief.
Kapoor is Hindu, but I wanted to use it because it means "Descended of the Moon" which I thought was neat. Rashne means "Justice".
I know, the Sash for the attire is not necessary but it adds to the Middle Eastern feel to it. I wanted to blend an ancient look and the classic superhero attire together ... showing my love for both
I give you thanks for the opinion and feedback. You know I always love to hear it. It was the first mask we came up with, and I still liked it a lot. So, I am giving him two options. Remember his cloak is mystical and molds and creates whatever theme attire he wants.

I was referring 'Kapoor' to India heritage. You know, Govinda Dheeraj stuff, not North America's Indian tribes like Sioux, Apache, and stuff.

I know. "Kapoor" is a mixture of India and Hindu. That's why I went with the whole Middle Eastern and Persian heritage. Not so many characters come from this background and linage.

I think this (and the other) look fantastic. He's got a great look, and the description/explanation of his powers is excellent and well-thought out. I could see a comic around this fellow.

Thank you, my friend. I am glad you like the new attire and look. Aen did a fantastic job helping me to create a successful and original character. I give him up credit with coming up with Ferropathy idea, which fits so well into MoonHawk's abilities. The whole Persian/Middle Eastern origin and storyline is a great read. I am working with an artist to try out my writing skills and see if this character has what it takes to have his own comic.

Thank you. I borrow the idea from a old concept art from Iron Fist and thought to myself to add a little bit of Dynasty Warrior feel to it. The whole idea to blend a traditional armor and attire with a superhero look makes for a unique, realistic, and original. It plays off well with the Warrior/Mystical/Superhero themes I wanted to bring to the character. You should get Aen (The Artist) to help you redesign your characters. He is a great person to work with and very understanding. One of my favorite artist to work with.
