Description
September 4th 2007[link]
Well, it has been a year since Steve passed away.
wow...a year.... :/
Yesterday Animal Planet made an 8 hours special of his best show episodes. I watched some memorable ones
Watching preservation programs is not as fun as used to be....T-T
But as long as there are good preservers around the world, I'm glad enough.
I sure miss that guy....
Croacky!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Steve Irwin was one of my favorite life preservers.
I was pretty much shocked and sad with the news that he passed away today.
His show was a real inspiration for me and more than that, I admired his genuine Enthusiasm!
I believe most of people that don't understand his passion probably are thinking things like: "He was mortal after all...."
He wasn't proving that he was better than animals nor anything like it! It was about respect.
And with his death it can be proved that life is unpredictable! Being killed by the sting of a stingray! The most uncertain animal to be killed by...
I'm pretty sure Steve took all the precautions but somethings....simply happen!
And I'm mostly proud of him because he lived each day of his life with the same enthusiams he always had! Not only for the show, but for his family and friends!
Amen for that!
And yeah....Crocs rules, Steve! And you too!
Rest in Peace!
Its still hard to believe that he's gone. With all those encounters with crocs and venomous snakes, I had pretty much thought he was immortal.
It was kinda depressing...I was singing the Crocodile Hunter song in my head today at school.
I'll miss that man. He was beyond awesome.
RIP, Steve. <33
Everybody was gossiping about it in school the morning after the news. Half of them didn't realise what a great man was lost.
Lovely picture, RIP Steve.
I was also shocked to hear that we lost Steve to just a sting ray, they are not dangerious. Ive expected that he would meet his match with a croc or a snake!
I was not a big Steve fan, he was too much of a risk taker for me, but I do reconginse his works, and influence and appricated him!
RIP Steve Irwin
May the Croc Hunter live on in future Generations! He died doing what he did best, educating the world about animals and how we should preserve the ones that are slowly slipping through our fingers.
We will never forget you Steve Irwin...
steve was one of those guys who you don't expect to die from dangerous things/animals because he/she works them them, but does anyway
kind of ironic
nice picture by the way
Wonderful memorial picture. It's a horrible loss. D=
By a Manta Ray! Of all things unlikely.. Even a lightning strike had a higher chance. (Just, probability talk. Not suggesting anything D
I am sure that his family and friends would be grateful for all your kind comments & for
the making of this site. The world has lost a great man, who wanted to pass on his love
of wildlife & for the preservation of wildlife for the following generations.
We'll all miss you Steve, he made me see dangerous animals in a new light, and he's the reason crocs are my favorite animal. Atleast he died doing what he loved best. He's a legend, he's the Crocodile Hunter. No one forget that.
