I've looked through your entire galary and am wicked impressed. It would seem, at first glance, that your style is whimsical, if not a bit childish. However, look deeper, and the macabre, social undertones really surface. Very, very well done.

Your style is awesome!
I don't know the story, but it looks to me as if the moon is something that the boy really loves. So cute (the good kind of cute)!
Funny how his head is almost the shape of the moon...

Thanks.
I try to keep my images simple, still I aim for complexity in the textures and colors. That normaly works well for my stuff

In my opinion the burhs strokes look too crude for such a childish painting. The rest is just awesome tho

Want a tip? as an artist I don't support of remaking (or improving) of old artworks but apllying the new lessons in new (upcoming) ones.

Still after years I think it could be funny to see it in another version
It won't probably happen as I don't have the time.. (because of all the new stuff).

this is my favorite picture I have seen all day, sorry I know it's an older one. You style here is so wonderful, with a children's book feel. Reminds me somehow of "Where the Wildthings Are" which is one of my favorite illustrated books of all times. Ah, I love Maurice Sendak, thank you for bringing him back to me with your wonderful art! The pleasure is mine
