The Flag of Libya symbolizes the Fatimid state, which has built an empire in North Africa and the eastern Mediterranean and the Hijaz, and the Fatimids was wearing green turbans also that the color green is a symbol of Islam and development

Oh yeah. I remember in Year 4 we were told to draw a flag. Being the little lazy smartass I was, I just coloured the A4 paper green.
