How is that even possible?

I can understand arachnophobia (fear of those 8-legged, creepy pseudo-insects), and tyrophobia (fear of holes - as opposed to holy things, which is hagiophobia), hippomonstrosesquipophobia (ironically, the fear of long words), pogonophobia (the fear of beards - if Harry Potter had that, he'd never have gone to Hogwarts with Hagrid around.), and even anitadephobia (the fear that somehow, a duck is always watching you).

But a fear of everything? It would be impossible to do anything.

...Woah. All the phobias in one phobia... I wonder if people can actually live with Panophobia.

Shit, talk about problems if you have that phobia!

Indeed. Although it's the general feeling of doom, like something awful is going to happen all the time.

Are you sure it's not "pantophobia"?

tistwas In reply to ILiveInThePast [2010-05-17 18:07:54 +0000 UTC]

It's known by both names.

It's from the Greek 'pan' and 'phobos' and it has a few names, though...
Omniphobia,
Pantophobia
Panophobia,
Panphobia

I know it's greek, 'cause I'm greek.
I knew it as pantophobia though, because in modern greek "panta" means everything.
