Hello, SimbaWhat if Simba decided not to return to the pridelands when Nala found him? What if he returned too late?
I always love doing what if scenarios with Scar, so I thought I could do one for the current contest on
In this one, Scar remains as the greedy king of the pridelands, bringing darkness and despair to the kingdom. He takes Nala as queen (maybe after her return from the oasis) with whom he has an heiress that will ensure the continuity of his reign. Nala, highly resentful with both Simba and Scar, loses all hope and eventually becomes evil.

Very well done. I have a love of dark scenarios and this seems quite plausible. Nala's evil seems as though it could overpower Scar's. Does their daughter have a name?

I love it, the only thing that throws me off is that his mane is flying in the opposite direction of the rain, which would mean that there are two different directions to the wind. Everything else is awesome though, love the way that the cub looks, expression just like her father.

I love this so much that words are lost for me. The shading is gorgeous. The hyenas eyes in the background is frighteningly eerie. And the fact that Nala returns without Simba, becomes Scar's queen and becomes resentful to *both* ... is fucking awesome!!!! I *love* crazy ass ideas like that. An evil Nala ... anyone can break after all, even the best of us.
