As soon as this shot came up in the camera I felt perfection. I think that whilst the aesthetic is very beautiful that it is more the freedom of the model's energy that is the perfect thing. The model had never posed for shots before and was not intending on doing any nude work. She had come in for some underwear shots and felt so free on the day that she posed for this series. Her enthusiasm and passion on the day was so inspiring for me as the photographer. So many women and men for that matter seem to judge or possess nudity. I get so uplifted when someone comes into my studio with an open mind like Melissa did on this day.Related content

You say the perfection is her energy but to me its hard to "feel" her energy when all i see is her breasts and body. Maybe if i saw her expression i would feel it more. When I saw the name of the shot like the others i automatically thought you were talking about her body.

I can understand your point of view. Had I not experienced feeling energy in bodies through years of photography I would agree with you. However many times I have been doing back shots of people and have felt their energy change without seeing their expressions. Have you never walked into a room and felt a certain energy without any apparent physical signs.

She should realize that she has NOTHING to hide or be afraid of when it comes to nude modeling. Her choice to go ahead with this shot is a testament to her self and her photographer. Bravo to you sir for providing an atmosphere of comfort and trust for the model to feel that free/relaxed to attempt something she wasn't going to do initially. Bravo to her for giving us an amazing view of her flawless "perfect" form.

the lightings awesome, as well as the perspective, but what type of film and camera did you use? it seems a little low on the resolution size compared to what other pictures i've seen on deviantart. could be my moniter...

Thanks for your comments. The resolution on the image here is low because I don't load high res images on deviant unless I am selling them. Original resolution was much higher.Camera was a Nikon D200.

Hopefully,you're speaking about all of the different shapes and sizes because,I'm not sure if you realize this,but all women are shaped differently and not all women have a body as "perfect"(according to the media) as this.

Eh... Not so "perfect" with the boob job... But it's a good boob job. xD Though, I think perfection would be/should be natural. But that's all determined by preference.

I definitely agree with you re the breast job. However in my writing I did point out that I felt the perfection was her energy rather than the physical appearance. Think she would perhaps have looked perfect physically aswell had she left her breasts natural.
