Description
How to inject yourself testosterone[click download to view]
I did this two years ago for school, just revamped it and translated it. I hope it can be useful to some trans fellows.
I'm okay for it to be published as long as it's not for money and as long as I'm linked.

I've never tried to inject in the hips (I find injecting in the lap so comfortable XD). I've been injected in the back once by a nurse friend, but the muscle there is really thin. however it's not worse than in the calf of the leg, I tried once and it was a very bad idea! my muscle got so painful I could hardly walk normaly...

oh jeez XD;; when I tried it in the back the same thing happened, it got so sore, but other then that I'm just nervous to do different from what the doctor says.

being nervous doesn't help indeed... what can be worrying though is when skin gets harder in reaction to the needle, a friend of mine once broke a needle on his lap for he injected too many times in it. on the other hand I've been injecting in my left lap for months now so yesterday I tried in the right one, putting the needle inside was painful all along so I decided not to inject there and tried in the left lap again. I didn't even feel the needle passing through as usual... my girlfriend says it's maybe cause I passed through a nerve once and it made this area less sensible XD

but if you do it in the same place for so long it can cause scar tissue and then it's harder to absorb once it's injected, if absorbed at all, this is coming from someone who does it everyday for diabetes.

hmm... I guess I'm gonna ask some advice to my nurse friend. a chance I've to inject only every three weeks. I wonder if someday someone will think about making a device like those for diabetic people, that injects insuline on its own, maybe that could help balance our mood. I've notice the two day after the injection I'm tired, the third day I'm very easily angry and get mad at everything, then I start to calm down for some days, turn hyper sensitive for some more days and then it's quite okay until I start feeling the need for a new injection.

I do it every other week, and the day or two before I do my next shot I feel really sick even though I'm on a really low dose, of course me and any kind of drug or hormone will screw up my system easily.

that's kinda normal, after all you still have oestrogen in your body and it's really not doing good with T, it will take a little time for you to get some sort of new hormonal balance.

I'm not Trans, but that was impressive. You had a lot of detail and it was interesting to read. If I'm ever asked where to find a guide to this kind of thing, I'll direct said person this way!
