Description Acrylics with some rocks and shells mixed into it.

I really like the coelacanth, it's probably something about the leglike fins. . . Anyway, we visited the Natural History Museum in London with uni, and I saw one preserved specimen there and got inspired to do this

I thought the shells and rocks would fit in, since I don't know how old they are, and the fish (as a species) can very well be millions of years older than them.


Most of all I just wanted to paint an interesting creature.

Looks good! Hopefully I'll have time to mess around with shells again this summer: D Now that I have a whole apartment for myself to fill with shells and stuff X D
