Description
For Otakon 2008 I chose to dress as Sakura from the Tsubasa Resvoir Chronicals, using the artbook version of her desert outfit. Unfortantly, I never did get any pictures of the outfit with out the cloak.
This was my first attempt at sewing. The last time I sewed anything was back in middle school when it was required we had to take home ec. It's not quite to where I wanted the costume to be, but for my first adventure, I did all right. The outfit was recognizable.
The hardest part I had with the outfit was doing the maroon border. It was very time consuming measuring out everything and trying to keep everything aligned.
Sometime later I would love to redo the whole outfit again. It would be interesting to see how much I've come along.
