Description
More from the Citadel DLC! This one was inspired by the scene at the party where EDI asks Traynor about some comments Traynor made earlier about EDI's voice before she knew EDI was an AI... like how she wanted to "roll naked with her voice in satin sheets". Samantha seemed a bit embarrassed and poor Tali accidentally poisoned herself with cheese while trying to change the subject. If you haven't seen it yet, you should check it out here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6ouFY⦠(video by FluffyNinjaLlama)So, I thought maybe Samantha had something she'd like to say to Shepard as well (if the two were together). Maybe as soon as Shepard gets up and turns away to leave, Samantha would sneak up to her and grab her lightly and whisper into her ear exactly what she'd like to do with her... and most likely will do later that evening
...and meanwhile, Tali is running her toxin treatment program and EDI tries to figure out if she should be trying to listen to Traynor's whispers or not (for learning purposes, of course).

Shepard and EDI for GMod by GoOr (little fixes for SFM by me)

I wonder what Samantha is saying to Shepard.

Looks like EDI is hearing everything with her robot ears

Hehe, yeah, and I think there's a hint of jealousy in EDI's look... if that's even possible

Eeeeeeeee lookit! Some pretty quality 3D shaynor art. I know that SFM Sam mod is not flattering but you did a good job on hiding half her face behind her hand.Β And Shep's smirk is quite telling what kind of stuff Sam is whispering into her ear
Poor Tali tho, Sam owns her a cocktail or two for trying to change the subject by poisoning herself
I really love that you always put some background thoughts and/or story to your arts.

Thanks!
And yeah, finding Sam model for SFM was not easy... this one seemed to be beta, and unfortunately I couldn't find the "actual" release (or another one). Same with GMod. Well, at least it worked on this one Now, if I only could find Cortez... or maybe I should learn to port/convert models myself or maybe try yet another program(s). I do know it takes a lot of time to learn new stuff, though, so I guess that's off the table for now. Oh well, maybe sometime in the future.
I do like to share bits of my thought process in the form of little stories. I think they help to set the mood for the actual picture. And I've noticed writing them helps me streamline my thought processes a bit. I sometimes do that with other projects as well, although I tend to keep the notes to myself. And I guess it's good practice for my english writing skills as well (after all, english is not my native language...)

learning new stuff is not my cup of teaΒ too otherwise I'd have mastered blender for sure by now
I too like to put some dialogue or thoughts onto my works, just as you said it gives the pics a better mod or depth.

Yeah, especially pieces that are very dependent on a certain setting or mood really need some kind of setting up for the full effect. I've also seen some people use music to set the mood for pictures and/or short stories and I think it works too. It's just a bit harder (at least to me) to find something that fits the mood perfectly. And then there's the matter of how a piece of music makes different people feel different things (well, I guess that's true for pretty much everything...). But I think it's an interesting method. I'm sure many people draw inspiration from music anyway (I know I do), so why not use it to sort of transfer the "moods of the creation" of the piece.
I think I should finally start to learn using Blender, too. It would be a fantastic tool to satisfy some of my game modding urgesΒ Β I did actually make a few decent 3d models (cars) for GTA3/VC/SA a few years ago, so I guess I could learn it again. Some day...

I almost always listen to music when doing pics, it's working wonders

You're much better at English than many people I know who are native speakers.
And I love Shepard's face here.Β I'm just imagining Sam is whispering "take the kinkiest thing you can imagine and hang a hanar off it..."

Thanks!
Heh, at first I thought I'd make Shepard look a bit shocked but then thought it wouldn't be quite "Shepard-y". I figured a sort of "oh, we're so doing that later tonight"-smirk would be more appropriate
