Hey, look who it is! Part 2/2 of a gradient comish set for FoxDragon of FA, of this guy again: twilightsaint.deviantart.com/a… But with wings! <3 I actually got to design them, since his original reference didn't include them. I just incorporated the same colours and similar patterns.
Grr, I loved working on this guy again! Winged or wingless, he's just such a cooooool dude! Cooool, since he's an ice gryphon? Harharhar. 8D More than ice, I get the idea of permafrost from him...which is very specific. *shrugs*
I love how this guy turned out...again! I went with an overall bluer hue for him, and I made his feathers a little extra shiny to make them look a little icy. ^^ Looove his colours!

Maybe I am not using this critique tool correctly, but I think I can give it a try anyway.
Vision: If the theme or idea you are trying to represent is a flying gryphon, you do so very well. You mentioned permafrost and the colors you have chosen represent it well.
Originality: The way you draw the pose is done well, though I have seen it from you before. I am always fond of the way the characters are bigger than the frame they are in. It makes them pop out of the screen.
Technique: The way you draw these character are impeccable from my point of view. The lineart is done very well, and I can't find anything wrong with the anatomy of the character. The angle is also done very well, making it seem 3d rather than flat.
Impact: There is a certain lifelike realism to the character and there's a certain feeling of them coming out of the screen.
Overall I think it is a very good piece of art.

the ribs look extremely more precise than the post i last mentioned them on, the anatomy is amazing which i have to say still makes you stand out above other artists time and time again.

Thanks! And while that's a cool idea, this was a commissioned piece, and therefore the design is the property of the commissioner. So you'll have to ask him permission to use it. Or just make a design sort of similar in colour, lol.
