More playing around with those same techniques I used in my last space art picture. Trying to find ways to merge my space art and illustration work together. I wasn't planning on going anywhere with this picture, but I liked what I had so much that I decided to finish it. Though I believe I did mess up the end result a little bit. LOL. It dosen't really bother me that much... I still like it.

The little critter in there is a Seraph (or Seratores in the Old Space-Born language)... one of my alien animal species. They're basically "living spaceships" as they can only survive in the depths of space. Seeing a Seraph is considered the holy grail of good luck for space travellers since they're so rare to see. To give you a sense of scale he'd be about 150 feet from nose to tail tip.

I'm actually considering getting a tattoo of my seraphs in the distant future.
