Description This is the result of a collaborative effort from the Star Wars Design Alliance to create a set of modifiable deckplans for use with the Star Wars RPG. I did most of the heavy lifting illustration-wise (especially on the exterior), but many of the interior components were drawn by other SWDA members and I modified/incorporated them into the overall work. I want to give them full props here because otherwise I would never have been able to do this all on my own. The finished overall project along with stats and commentary can be found at the Star Wars Design Alliance website -- [link]

This particular image is a single-unit IRDS with a pretty standard configuration capable of supporting up to 8 crew members.

This is found in the old Star Wars D6 "Hideouts and Strongholds" book; it says that they're typically used for short-term surveillance, training, research, combat zone command posts & emergency rescue operations. But really it could be used for just about anything you'd want. This particular configuration has sleeping berths for 8 crew members, a conference room, a central command hub (I figure those stations are sensors/communication/weapons/systems), a multi-purpose workstation module, and a kitchen/bathroom module.

HA! Yeah, I'd have to agree that the "Hideouts & Strongholds" book was one of the best sourcebooks I've seen.
