Description
This was done a while ago, but I figured since I'm submitting a bit of digital photoshop work, I might as well upload this one too. It's of the Quake logo. For those of you who have played the original Quake 1, I salute thee. For those of you who don't know about it, Quake was ONLY one of the best classic FPS games of all time, and if you don't at least download the demo and play it five minutes after reading this, you will fail so epically that a shambler will appear in your room and eat your face... So, enjoyRelated content

High-five for a fellow Quaker!
Oh boy, I still remember that time all too well ... but together with it, I also remember that delightful time (aka times because I was competing with my bro on who would gib the most enemies) I managed to gib one of those white-snarled suckers as well and boy did that felt GREAT. I was like, I dunno, 6 or 7 years old and I had no nightmares from all carnage and blood and eyeless faces and all.

You think that's fun, try playing the game on Nightmare difficulty. Yes, that's a thing... and there's a nice little secret trick to getting it ;3
That was about me at that age :'P The Shambler is my favorite though, and I've decided to call it a Zapsquatch

Still remember how can you access that difficulty and well, you know what a true Quaker does to that difficulty as well - gives it MAD TIME back!
;3
Gotta love how people in different continents enjoy those classics while being the same(-y) age as us equally, heh. My favorite is Shalrath/Vore, mostly because of the sounds rather than looks (not to even mention the tendency to blow itself up with its own pods,
!) and in those times, both me and my bro called it "Spider". :,D

You know it You jump into the water leading to episode 4 but don't fall through right away, instead swim under the platform you jumped from (all the way against the wall) and you'll drop down onto a wooden scaffold (taking no damage). Follow it carefully without falling off towards an opening in the upper wall and jump in and the Nightmare portal (appropriately styled differently than the easy, medium & hard ones) is just around the bend. Then pick an episode and have fun for however long it takes you to ragequit
Hah, games like that may be dated, but their style can't be matched. Also, if you like the quake engine and fantasy games and haven't played these, I'd give Hexen 1 & 2, and Heretic 1 & 2 a try, and they're all on Steam.

Indeedy and I actually screenshotted the thing as well just to show ya that I too am crazy enough to take it. images.akamai.steamusercontent… Don`t even ask me how many images of heads I have in my Steam gallery, i lost count at around 12.
Too bloody much ... and thanks for the recommendation there, even if myself, I played American McGee`s Alice only yet, mainly because of lack of dosh ... and that game also runs on the same/similar engine Quake 1 (or 2) runs on as well. All shown via the famous fire sprite and not to mention similarly-functional powerups. If ya liked Quad, then I can tell you, Rage Box will not disappoint you.
