Yeah, I go to nightschool fantasy art class and after the summer break, I always do a drawing that is really pants, as if I've forgotton how to draw. Some of it is learning how to draw proportions and lighting etc etc and for the large part it is simply practice and observation of other drawings. There are loads of tutorials on DA which are easy to follow too if you get stuck ever.

Yes I finally broke down and started using references and found it very helpful. I'm trying to keep myself consistently drawing.
