A familiar face returns Jonny's most precious possession after he lost another most precious possession.
Cheap drawing based on one of the "Ed, Edd n Eddy Highschool" episode ideas I recieved a little while ago ([link] ).
This one was from a person named Nick J. Perry:
"hi ^.^ so Johnny doesnt like talking about plank. but what if there was a new kid in the high school who actually resembles plank in a way and is mute think him and johnny might be friends?"
Even though I was charmed by the idea, I can't put it to practice since it's not part of the "story", and because of the rule: 1. Stop introducing new characters.
Jonny's design is still in developement.

Well he does have that stoner face and some people are born with bongs in thier hands and a herb birthmarks but my opinion is that Jonny is dyslexic but then again thats just my oppinion

i meant in high school. but i mean, the one episode we see inside his room and it's full of plants, for all we know he could be.

But he talks to Plank right now, and Plank is gone in the Highschool series.
Hm. I can't remember the plants, but if there are, it's more likely that Jonny is a nature lover.

2 points to make here...
#1 - i personally think johnny is too skinny. he seemed more husky in the original series. maybe a thicker torso or a shorter body.
#2 - i never took johnny to be all that into music. he seemed more like a "nature-boy". i always thought he'd grow up into a nature artist, if the case maybe were he'd have to give up Plank.

"Ever since Plank left the scene, Jonny lost a great amount of weight and the others claim he's unhappy. Though he says different. Whenever someone mentions Plank or asks about him, Jonny gets nervous and walks away.
The Eds once tried to make him talk and sell him a new friend (again), but to their suprise he didn't submit at all.
His new passion is listening to all kinds of music; he basicly doesn't have anything better to do."
I was never a music type myself, but after things got rough it ended up being my only escape when I was anywhere but home.

Maybe you could get around the rule by alluding that the kid actually is Plank. For example, by only showing him interacting with Jonny, having the other kids insist they've never seen this guy, or even hinting that this may be the way Jonny has always seen Plank. It'd be a great way to expand on Jonny's character, and maybe it could even end with him reaching a sense of resolution, saying goodbye to Plank, just as the new kid "stops showing up to class" or "has to move away suddenly." The original concept is very clever, and by this loophole you've introduced no one and there's nothing left to expand upon, so the episode stands alone.

No can do, Plank is just a plank in the original series; any other interpretation is just "another character".
Neither does Plank make an appearance in the Highschool series, so there is no Plank to interact with in the first place.

This is actually a fantastic idea, though fan characters or OC's should'nt be included in Ed Edd n Eddy Highschool in my opinion. (Btw high school is two words not one. Grammar error you may or may not want to change.) This would fit for an episode though.

"The title "Highschool" comes from an unpublished comic where Eddy sends a letter to Edd, in which he misspelled the word, to hide my own stupidity."

I kept the error, because that way I know when people are "using" my idea when they name their version. Not that I'll address it, but there are more "Ed, Edd n Eddy Highschools" out there. Most that misspelled.
