Not sure how many of these I will post on DA but the best pics from shoot will still go on our website.This is a cosplay I made last year and wore at Onicon 2010. However I did change the hair quite a bit. I really like how it turned out. My wonderful cosplay partner agreed to be my Light and she looked so amazing

i know right... but when I look at the photo, I have to agree with them... my smile was really ryukk-ish... maybe becuz im not used with misa's red lipstick

*shrugs* since the movie originated in Japan, where the manga and anime came from and its also by Viz company, I'm sure the person who wrote the manga would have had some say as to what went to the movie. So I'm sure the color of the hair of Misa isnt that big of a deal.
If its a big deal to you then dont fav it. She just happened to cosplay the movie version. As long as she got the details correct theres no reason to bother it.

In the movies she has black hair. And as a cosplayer I am free to do as I please. Her eye color also varies in the manga itself and the anime. So there is a lot of creative liberties that can be taken with her.
