While of course I'll draw whichever candidate ends up winning the poll I always have a favorite of my own that I'm hoping takes the top spot, the irony is that while "The Sneetches" was one of my personal BOTTOM picks for August's Seuss poll not only did it end up winning but I'm actually pretty happy with how it turned out. MEANWHILE my personal pick for THIS poll WAS "Dexter's Laboratory" BUT - likely as a direct result from my overconfidence from being a fan - I feel like what I have is rushed and rather sloppy, both in terms of production quality as well the idea (as Gamora would said it's BARELY a CONCEPT ).

OK, now that we've got the mandatory 'self-loathing artist' bit out of the way here's the idea:

It's based off of Howard Gardener's theory that genius typically falls/manifests into one or more of nine categories which are (L-to-R, top-to-bottom): Linguistic, Intrapersonal, Bodily/Kinetic, Interpersonal, Logical/Mathematical, Musical, Existential, Natural, Visual/Spatial. The gist of the show (like I said it's BARELY a concept) would be a teen aged (about 13) Dexter and Mandark finding/fighting over the greatest of these other kid geniuses in order to recruit them to help save/conquer the world, respectively.

I'm sorry this seems so sloppy (haven't flushed out the characters or even really nailed down the art style) but I'm gonna start doing better; I think all the time I've spent NOT drawing has just taken a toll.

But like I said I'm gonna start managing my time more responsibly to make room for everything while becoming more balanced overall.
