Description
So another comic idea I had for an old fave: Cyberchase. While the title and poster probably give the basic gist I'll elaborate anyway: The Hacker sabotages Mother B's portal systems (maybe that's happened before, don't remember - can you believe this show premiered in 2-thousand-and-flippin'-2? Jeez) so Marbles and the Cybersquad are stuck at Control Central scrambling to get it fixed. During the work an accident causes a bizarre looking portal (see above) to appear and sucks in Matt, Jackie and Inez (not Digit, I have other plans for himThey arrive in a parallel digital world called the 'Interverse' run with an iron fist by the malevolent A.I Fatherborg whose strict rules and sometimes fatally harsh punishments are executed by his loyal acolytes, the Interceptors: Pratt, Kenzie and Enid. Their only hope? A daring, yet elusive freedom fighter known only as 'The Patcher' (or just 'Patch' to his friends).
Meanwhile on the home-front: Marbles fixes the portal circuits but can't yet replicate whatever opened the gate to the Interverse, so he recruits a new, temporary Cybersquad (consisting of Slider, Creech, and Shari Spotter) to help Digit thwart Hacker's schemes while he works to save the others (in other words: the B-Plot).

"A Cyberchase movie, into a whole new way. It's remarkable awesome and totally awesome. In fact, the fans will love this high quality, action-packed comic that is outstandingly past Cyberspace. I know that this comic is going to be the best Cyberchase comic ever since 2002, and I know that the characters are well original, the places that the heroes go to, the missions that they have to solve and many others. I like how they have a dark overview in the story and it keeps the story more awesome like you never seen before in your entire life just to inform you."

What an interesting concept. A sort of alternate-universe dimension where everybody's bad. That's one of the best subjects of science fiction, as they did it on Star Trek (Mirror Universe) and DC Comics (Earth-3 Crime Syndicate). Of course, I like to think of Cyberspace in CyberChase as a dimension of sorts; that's why I call it an alternate-universe dimension. It'd sure be interesting to see this comic once it's fully developed...and how mathematics is used in this twisted alternate universe. Additionally, I am impressed at the drawing of the usually CG animated MotherBoard. In conclusion, this sounds like a worthwhile comic to view. I enjoy CyberChase as much as I do with Wordgirl and Sesame Street and any Kratt Brother program, so I look forward to this interesting comic.

Interesting comparison, though I'm hoping I might make my spin a little more dynamic by not making everyone in the alternate world just pure evil, but rather 'morally complicated'.
I mean YEAH, for all intents and purposes they're pure frickin evil but they're not 'mustache twirly' evil - more the 'this makes sense to me' sort of deal.
They're not as close with each other as the Cybersquad is; they each have their own reasons for helping Fatherborg carry out his plans and their being on a team is just sort of incidental.

I understand if they're pure evil (not mustache twirly evil like the various villains of silent films). I can draw comparisons with two other alternate universe things where the normal good guys are downright evil in the alternate universes: Mirror Universe from Star Trek and Earth-3 from DC comics.

The Star-Trek MU levels of evil approached the ridiculous, if you ask me.

Now the main questionΒ is who's Matt InzeΒ and Jackie's evil side names?

I do like cyberchase. I was an enormous fan as a kid and watched all the episodes a million times. But what I really like now is opposite dimension stories. This is a perfect mash right here

oh no, my cyberchase nostalgia period is over. it was just a few months in the beginning of 2014 i was thinking about it, but i have a new obsession with a vintage franchise from the 70s that's getting a new series this spring so no cyberchase for me for a while, though i occasionally like to doodle hacker
