Thanks to my friends from Galveston, I am now hooked on GGX2. They lent me the game and I love playing it to death. I really adore most of the characters in there, but I have to admit I love Faust the most.While his past is depressing, his personality is charming (in a sort of ... creepy kind of way) and playing as him is wonderful. Some of my favorite moves are him opening the imaginary door and jumping on top of his scapel where he grows flowers out of the ground (and his head).
I just think he is a really cool character. Even before I started playing the game and friends were showing me pictures, he caught my eye first. So I draw fanart.
And I, in no way claim Faust. Faust (c) Guilty Gear X/X2.
PS: He's saying boing cos I swear to god when I am playing I hear him say it when he licks people or jumps. O_o Is that really what he's saying?

Very well done, I like the pose and mini faust. I think you are right, it does sound like he is saying boing...or something to that effect. Anyway, keep up the good work.

yay, faust is awesome! he is so fun to play as..... i swear, he is one of the most original characters i've seen in a video game.... the only generic characters in that game i can think of are sol badguy and ky... maybe jam..... anywho, love the pic! so great.... yeah, he does say that, i was kinda wondering that myself.... that's funny -^_____^- heehee, the chibi faust is so cute!

Venom and Faust are the only two i'll play with. Venom is just cool and Faust is funny, confusing and overall awesome man. I haven't played the newer one yet but now I'm gonna.

That is one of the coolest (and most Incharacter ) fanarts of Faust I've seen yet! I love it!! the chibi faust is great!! I adore all of the guilty gear characters, myself.. and you're right, its so hard to choose a favorite.. (Testament be mine..who would have ever thought e_e

Faust is indeed the most off the wall and original character i've seen in a long time. You really caught the zainyness of him here.
On another note, why oh why is the diffuculty difference between the person before the boss and the boss so insainly high?

Ahh, thus is one of the slight downsides to such a beautiful game. Storyline bosses are most of the time such a BITCH to defeat. Yet at the same time, even if I lose to 'em a million times.. I keep hitting retry.

Yeah Faust is one of my favorites from that game. Though I like his instant kill better in GGX than GGX2. It gives people an afro when he blows them up. But he also blows himself up flies into the air then lands then gets up in a disco stance when he gets up. My favorite character is also the hardest to play in my oppinion, Dizzy. Even though Faust is a close second. This is going to be a fav.

Faust freaks me out....him and his big ass scalpel... I don't remember if i won against him...maybe once...heh..maybe I should learn how to play instead of button mash huh? I've always loved his coat though and you did an awesome job with it. You did capture the essence of Faust very well. ^^ He is zany and I never did see everyone's past...I just...button mash LOL. Maybe when I buy a PS2....*sighs* Well I know my character of choice is Venom because he's the only character I button mash moderately well... ^a^ I love the colors you chose for this, it's really outstanding, the chibi one is priceless too.
