Description this whole sea belongs to her. Yet her life is depending on the materialistic items on her boat. She was selling snacks and what not to the tourists who were boarded the bigger ships. I was one of them. I felt a necessary uncomforted feeling while on this ship...but nonetheless, we both owned this part of the sea for a little while.

The water looks to be very still and calm, does it get stormy there because i think you wouldn't want to be on something like that if it does.
Lovely bw tones with a beautiful view in to the distance.

The ripples in the water bring the details out and bring your eyes immediately to the boat. If one was to lighten it or draw out details elsewhere then the whole feel of this incredible image would be lost.

You must have known this..because you have presented it in the perfect fashion.

Bravo.. You did it again!!

Epic scale and vision; if John Ford had shot westerns in Viet Nam, they might have looked something like this...

i would to like to see more details on the mountains and rocks. creating a horizon is essential atleast too me to keep a landscape shot interesting.

it wasn't intended to be a 'landscape' shot. more about the scale of the subject and the vastness of the surrounding...

beautiful shot Kat, interesting approach too.. but in a way it kind of looks flat from having mostly grey reflection water but guess the boatlady makes up for it..

wonderful photo. I love your work. The contrast is a bit high. I would have liked to see a little bit more detail in the shadows.
