Description
This is my toolbox. It's modified from a pattern in an old magazine I got at a garage sale. I had to make it bigger to accommodate all my hooks. The pocket under the scissors holds a tape measure, thimble, and assorted odds and ends tools I use.
I wouldn't leave home without it

Many of them are, the ones on the left are steel hooks tho. I have plastic and bone hooks as well, but have those in another place, since I seldom use them.
All the 'colored' hooks you see tho, are aluminum

It's so wonderful to see another crochet nut who made herself a tool kit!! You've inspired me. I'll take a photo of the one I made with all my hooks and post it on my page. I've got a hook that's HUUUUUGE.....

I look forward to seeing your toolbox! It's probably the most practical facet of crafting when one can craft the very tools and items that are used and most useful in the crafting process itself.
I have always wanted to spin my own yarns, but my situation isn't likely to allow that, so I'll enjoy watching your lovely creations as they come to life, knowing that you even craft the very yarns you use in making them

I liked this so much that I made my own! Unfortunately, the tiny hooks keep poking through it... Do you know of a good way to solve this?

I have a bit of a problem with my sewing needles getting lost in the stitches sometimes, and I'm thinking of sewing on a small piece of felt to keep them on.
A strip of felt behind the smaller hooks might prevent your problem as well, (and act as a needle holder for straight pins and sewing needles as well

Thank you! Actually I do have a bigger hook, but it doesn't fit in the loops in the flaps, so I keep it in the pocket in the middle
Thanks again for the comment.

Thanks! It is dead on useful. it keeps all my little things together and organized in my carry all bag. I'm just so freakish about knowing where every single one of my hooks is at. LOL
