Description Both of these objects unlock something. The key is obvious. The lens however unlocks light, and allows the creation of images, through the control of light intensity, perspective and depth of field.

I understand why you want to get back into the studio. When you have ideas like this it must be a great way to spend the winter.

You have some wonderful photos posted here and out of all of them this one really caught my eye. I love the description of the photo just about as much as I love the photo. I have a thing for old keys and cameras so to see both in a well presented photo well I just had to take a look. Lovely job keep up the stunnign work!

The quality is insane! It's good you combine technology and concept mind. Not just a shot maker.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

WayneBenedet In reply to Zimed7 [2007-04-12 17:30:21 +0000 UTC]

I am pretty impressed withthe quality too. I have only gone to digital in th elast 9 months or so because I did not feel the quality was there. This series of shots proves to me that digital has arrived. (Yes it was there before professionally, but the costs were astinomical).

Thank you very much. I learned this kind of photography about 30 years ago and have had a number of my pieces published in magazines or hung in colleges. Each piece starts with a basic concept, and then it is built over time, usually in my head for many weeks or months, until a finished set up is imaged. Then, multiple attempts are usually required with lighting and exposures to get the right effect.

I truely do thank you for the appreciate you have expressed.
