This was just a quick picture to get myself interested again. Part of the problem is that the model was only a solid object for me and I didn't have anything installed to try and break it up....Crusader was made by Arcadia.
Edit: Called the mech a Champion, when it is really a Crusader...

Don't know if it was the look you were going for... But it looks like it's a photo of a real miniature. Probably due to the heavy blurring. I like it tho.
