Description
So many of you have asked how I do my art - I usually answer that it is through brute force, ignorance, and an inability to know when I'm beaten. This is true but I do have some basics I adhere to
I've put together this shockingly bad tutorial to try and put it into words (and a picture)

I always wondered how you do your drawings, thank you for posting it up. I might give your method a go some day (I mainly work in digital or with markers, but it's good to break from the usual )

Quite interesting! I can't draw, but it's definitely nice to see a traditional tutorial for a change. Always wondered how you people do your stuff without Layers and Undo

Nice one In the fitfth frame you've written van as opposed to can
I've never used a smudger - whenever I draw in pencil I struggle to gradually shade the drawing... so maybe I should go buy a smudger

Bit of paper rolled up really tight so you can sharpen it and use it to blend pencil/patil/charcole etc

They sometimes call them "stumps" or paper stumps. They're very handy!

Do they just look like a pencil made of papery stuff? Cause I've seen something like that, just didn't realise what it was

More or less! Shorter, and (usually?) gray, but entirely of paper, yup.

My favorite part was the name of the tutorial.
That, and the lightbulb. That lightbulb kicks ass.
