"Happy anniversary, I've a job for you."I was actually hoping to have this done earlier, but the Mary pic took longer than anticipated. Either way, August marked five years of Jethro+Monty, so thought I should do something for it. Seeing as I'm in the process of planning their next story, this seemed appropriate.
Jethro+Monty are fancharacters, operating in the Gunslinger Girl universe, which is (c) Yu Aida.

Well, someone had to go and round them up.
Truth be told though, this scene is actually loosely based off one I've planned for J+M's next story... albeit that version obviously involving a different character and different vehicle.

Heh... headlights are one of those things I both love and hate doing. I've found so far that they're easiest done working from the reflector forward to pick up how things are distorted by the lensing.
That would be the correct thing to say at least, mostly it seems to be a case of throwing brush strokes at the page in a manner that seems about right until everything finally clicks.

Loving the intense detail on the headlights and all that lovely Parisian vista. (nice bit of attention adding the red glare in the camera lens ~ haha, of course I'd notice those things...)
