thanks the trick is remembering that you're painting from light to dark, you can always get darker to bring out the brighter areas of your paintings ^ ^

welcome! i plan on making a watercolor tutorial soon when i have the time to put together images of all the steps (learning is best when you've got pictures to demonstrate as well!)
