Oh man I would kill for hydrus inks This is watercolor, Winsor and Newton artist grade watercolors ^ ^ The pigments are really saturated so you can get an almost ink-like depth to the colors without muddying them up thanks for your kind words!

Royal and Langnickle are also really great (and ultra vibrant) watercolors that are pretty cheap in price for their superior quality if you're ever looking for more pigments Thank you

thank you for all your observations ^ ^ This took me maybe about 20 hours start to finish. It has a lot of very transparent layers, so about 1/4 of that time was drying time rather than actual painting time

You're correct, it's watercolor I would like to work with tempera, but I would need to understand the material a little better first
