This is really beautiful. Such deep colours - It looks like you've used Inks (/hydrus)?
Stunning work, mate! I love it!

Oh man I would kill for hydrus inks This is watercolor, Winsor and Newton artist grade watercolors ^ ^ The pigments are really saturated so you can get an almost ink-like depth to the colors without muddying them up
thanks for your kind words!

Royal and Langnickle are also really great (and ultra vibrant) watercolors that are pretty cheap in price for their superior quality if you're ever looking for more pigments Thank you

Absolutely beautiful! The colors are amazing and I love how fluid and geometric the elements are both at the same time.

I love how rich and colorful this is, but also I'm really impressed with how you rendered the left hand covering her face! How you made the skin look translucent to see the blood running through her fingers, it give a sense that she's alive.
I've never worked with watercolors before but I've always liked them. Do you mind telling me how long it took you to do this? I'm just curious is all.

thank you for all your observations ^ ^ This took me maybe about 20 hours start to finish. It has a lot of very transparent layers, so about 1/4 of that time was drying time rather than actual painting time

I love all the colors! What kind of paint did you use? Watercolor? Tempera? Whatever it is, you did a marvelous job!

You're correct, it's watercolor I would like to work with tempera, but I would need to understand the material a little better first
