A fairly speculative reconstruction of a five-meter tyrannosauroid Alectrosaurus olseniΒ from the late Cretaceous of Inner Mongolia.EDIT:Β Decided to finish a little bit of background.

I like that skin texture on the neck! Are those just longer feathers at the base of the tail or is the tail itself fat?

Thank you! Yes, it's cheeks. I was inspired by this masterpiece. renum63.deviantart.com/art/T-r⦠In modern birds there is a likeness of the cheeks, and dinosaurs closer to birds than to lizards, so I drew this animal in this way.
