YAY!!This is how I draw and color eyes.
Another thing is blend blend blend!! I do the whole iris while it's still wet which is hard to show with a picture tutorial. If it dries and doesn't blend properly, don't worry, just go over it again with the lighter color until it looks ok!

I love how you have so much variety, and room for creativity in this! Won't the markers get a little messed up if you layer them over eachother like that, though? Whenever I do that it bleeds, or darkens way too much.

I wear a shit tonne of rainbow makeup every day but when it comes to drawing it i find it really hard for some reason! a tiny bit of blue or red is the best i can do e_e

I didn't really find this much of a tutorial.. You didn't really say how you added the colors, and what kind of colors and why those colors and yeah..

it's a technique tutorial, not everyone who follows it wants to draw a red eye with blue eyeshadow haha, what's the point of only drawing one eye on a page anyway?
it's just how i work because some people were interested, it's meant to be applied to your own work, i don't expect everyone to do an exact copy of mine

How does it make it look good? Why should it be used that way? Why do /you/ use it that way?
What types of colors should you use with other colors?
I.e. if you did a blue eye, would you use purple ontop?
