Another self-portrait, sorry
Last Thursday, I went upstairs to see how the students were doing regarding their preparations for the Science Fair. Joshua, my Taiwanese 7th grader, came up to me and said, "Teacher, you dress like a bad student."
It made me lol. Haha.
PS - While I usually have a fag in my mouth in my self-portraits, let me just make it clear that I never ever smoke in front of my students <3
PPS - The Chinese sign on the school wall reads "American International School"

Nah, you wouldn't be. No one in my school is scared of me, not even the little kids (in fact, they even fight over who gets to have me as their lunch supervisor).
In fact, I think I'm the teacher that the students are the LEAST scared of XD I'm pretty kooky, there's nothing to fear

Haha it was just something I decided to try.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the act of teaching. It was fun being with the kids and all. But also, it caused me to live a double life because there are aspects of me that are simply not good for the underaged. And also, I hate hate hate the paperwork! And having to deal with parents.
So in the end, after three years, it was time for me to kiss my students good bye (and believe me, I was bawling).

Well ya know I think there should be more teachers like that some they think there stuck with the job they pick for good and don't leave and if they don't want to be here (at there school) then the kid don't like it either.
Paperwork is a pain in the ass haha. Oh and parents thats fun right? I mean the mom who thinks that there kid is a perfect angel and really the monster from hell haha. Good times Good times lol.
I've always kinda had this image you had to have a god lot of Patients to be a teacher I mean there job is hell they don't get paid enought to do what they do there a bunch of kids that are ungrateful that you spend most of your day trying to help em out...and sorry I'm ranting lol

Actually, if you're an international school teacher, then you get paid quite alright. We were always traveling to other countries during school breaks and such.
The kids in my school were actually quite nice in general, and I really got along with them. There are some that I really really really miss and we keep in touch via chat and Facebook.
But yeah, given the stuff that I like to draw and what I say, it could get me in trouble. Although I do have two of my former students who are following me on DA now, haha.

It all depends on the principal, actually. Many principals wouldn't hire a teacher like me. I'm just lucky to come across a school with one who struts around in a leather jacket and shades!
