Exiting VR interface...The room around you looks dusty and totally clutterd like a bomb has gone off you can't resist a cough, though it's difficult to do so. In fact impossible, until you realize you are still bathed in a fluid capsule. However it's severely cracked and you can feel the pull of highly viscous oxygen rich fluid exiting the capsule in gulps, tugging at your skin and around your ankles.
You also remember that somehow you were infected by a mysterious woman through the VR interface. You were able to change things in the real world and in the memories of people. And you were changing yourself.
You notice that you have grown a long cord out of your bellybutton, which currently goes to the base of the capsule and seems to be supplying you with nutrients. You notice that somehow in your VR stasis you have severed the original, plastic cord with your powers. Also the room is totally destroyed around you.
What do you do?
P.S. In chapter 1, basically you were infected, got access to telekinesis and some basic shapeshifting abilities and it's affect your body in the real world somehow. enjoy.

As you come back, you notice that there are larger crystals all over and you have a deep headache. Also, you seem to have something strange on your left arm. Your elbow has a spike coming out of it.

You see the men watching from far away. some of them are talking on radios.

You notice that one of them has gas and it starts right up.

The cord hurts when you pull, but if you push through the pain you rip it out, leaving a bloody gash.
Meanwhile the glass cracks and the goo gushes out around you. The room is totally cluttered, like there was a bar fight in it.

You cut yourself a little, surprisingly little, and have an exit.

You find your clothes, your old lunch that you forgot to refrigerate (there are some non-perishables in it) and a set of keys/ID with your wallet.

An old can of nutrient drink and an energy bar. There's also a ho-ho like desert.

There is a medical kit that is too large to carry, but is filled with bandages, etc. There's a fire extinguisher. Empty hypo needles, a backpack filled with paper. A locker that wasn't locked filled with another lab worker's lunch, which she left, a lab coat, a change of clothes, and a photo of her dog.

The labcoat bag is full of canned, light instant food. You have a flashback where you were in VR and anyone who was still human was hoarding food. You had facilitated a trade of food by jumping into the memories of someone who had been hoarding and seeing what they valued and what they were willing to give up in a pinch. It then came rolling back to you that you had somehow gotten infected there...and gotten telekinetic powers. The more you used them the more you transformed until you disconnected from the VR completely and awoke...

*starts sneaking around the facility peeking around corners ect*

You notice that it looks like everyone left in a rush. You can hear a helicopter overhead outside. Suddenly you hear the thoughts of the pilot. more like a feeling. It gives you a tingle. They are about to bomb the facility and the helicopter is remotely sensing for the incoming bomb.

You can see the laser flickering through the rain, blinking. The helicopter pilot seems to be flying away slowly, getting out of range. You lose connection with him as well.

There is a vehicle (it's all futuristic, so I don't care what it's called) parked nearby. the others apparently had been cleared out.

As you hover away (they move along the ground. let's not get too fancy

You notice that you have a sort of lingering connection where the pilot was in your brain. Like a channel left open. It hurts.

You are surrounded by forest. you remember that there is a town down by the shore, but it's a ways walking/hiking distance from here.

You notice huge tents over some buildings and people lining up to get inside. It's like their expecting a plague or something. You recognize a lab worker talking to someone near the entrance of the tent.
