Description
VR interface connecting...As your VR assistant I might remind you for your safety where your body is in reality. You are in the Proxima b star system, on Ceres, humanity's second ever successful planet in world habitation. The 1st ever success in this endeavor is quarantined, due to an outbreak of an unclassified disease that seems to spread faster than is physically possible. We have shielded the planet from any communication and stopped all travel to and from there by sealing the planet in a singularity pocket. Essentially it no longer exists in our universe.
Through VR you will make contact with the locals who have no yet been affected. This is the safest way of investigating the nature of this planet's...transformation. In a way you are giving humanity hope-- hope that this world of hundreds of millions will not be lost forever, and that we do not need to lose our humanity in the process...
Please be advised that you may witness disturbing phenomenon. We do not know the origins, only that recent excavations on the planet's ruins may have released the disease. You will have the ability to enter the minds of people with whom you gain contact through the VR transmission; this will be essential to finding out exactly where the outbreak occurred and gathering data on it's nature. Exploring this situation through VR will keep you, and the rest of humanity safe. Please stand by for upload.

It seems to have purple veins all over it and your skin is especially pale looking. You notice that your hips have widened somehow and it made your walking feel difficult.

Your shoulders have block dots on them, as well as your cheeks. Your nether regions appear to be intact, except for there seems to be a bulge between your legs and scrotum and anus. It's tender to the touch and very soft. it seems to have stickiness to it as well, like a freshly backed pastry.

You notice suddenly that with some effort something squeezes to the outside and stops just before leaving your nipple. It seems to be lodged into place, and it locks there as if it was supposed to do that. It looks almost like an eye. In fact, as you do the same to the other side, you notice that you can see through them. (I promised weirdness)

As you walk deeper and deeper the old man points out the people who are following. "they aren't far behind"

You can sense the people are holding their heads and hurting. Some of them turn around. The archaeological researcher seems intent on following though, and brings a couple people along with him. He barely misses a jar, almost knocking it over.

As you do so, you feel an ache in your butt and your body begins to become a little more symmetrical. Your hand, however, seems to be swelling and becoming sticky. The cave collapsed behind you. Ahead was only darkness, and the walkway.

You notice that your belt is all gummed up, but if you dig around in the goo a little you find a little flashlight.

It's growing some kind of tentacle on the back of it, splitting. You still have use of your hand, but there's this multi tentacle thing on the back of it now.

You come to a large door that looks like it hasn't been used in forever. there are panels on the sides of it, but they are not at human hand-height. some are above the door, some are on the ceiling nearby.

They light up when pushed and the door opens. A very strange, dry air comes rushing out and blows past your hair. You notice at the breeze on your scalp that you are missing some hair there, and your head seems to have grown a sort of alien-like crest. you also can feel that there's a hangy, dangling thing off the back of your head, almost like a fleshy ponytail. it isn't very long, but it seems to pulse.

There isn't anything in there with reflective surfaces, just black and dark grey surfaces. You notice that you have entered a sort of hub of hallways. In the middle is a cylinder, black and smooth (I guess you can try and get a reflection off of that. or you can just use your powers to look at yourself from another perspective). There seem to be cables running from the cylinder down each of the six hallways in a radial pattern.

You feel a sudden shudder and then you can see yourself perfectly. You are not in good shape. Black spots around the breasts, which were strangely inflated, your hips and waist seemed quite feminine, as did your buttocks. Your shoulders had black spots on them as well. On your head you had hair except for the back half of your scalp which was drawn up into a thinly skinned crest, also black. Hanging down out of your head was a dangling nob, similiar in shape to a pony-tail except not made of hair at all. it was, if anything, almost shaped like a penis (though it is definitely not haha)

The eyeballs that were there dropped to the ground, swelling, and new eyes replaced them. THe ones on the ground grew and then "hatched" revealing insect-like creatures, two of them, with little tails like centipedes. They slithered along near you.

As you go down the hallway, you notice that your heels both feel rather sore. At the end of the hallway is a room filled with what look like boxes of tools and shelves of books. There is a computer in the corner, obviously of human make.

As you sit down, you notice that there's no dust here. it's as if no one has lived here in ages, but there was no way for dust to get in here somehow. Your heels have grown into long bumps. You basically have high heels growing out of your poor feet.

It turned on, showing old files about research, design, and building of an experimental facility designed to harvest psychic energy from space and store it in crystal, then use it as a power source. There are some blueprints of how it would look. One of them showed a large cylindar in a centralized hub.

It seems to be an idea created by Dr. Rabinowitz, who was trying to keep the planet from ever having to become dependent on fission. Most planets have basic nuclear reactors and expect the occasional meltdown. he wanted to avoid any meltdowns ever.

You find a bed, a refrigerator, a couch, and a small TV. The TV appears to be disconnected. There is a pile of records in the corner.
