VR interface connecting...As your VR assistant I might remind you for your safety where your body is in reality. You are in the Proxima b star system, on Ceres, humanity's second ever successful planet in world habitation. The 1st ever success in this endeavor is quarantined, due to an outbreak of an unclassified disease that seems to spread faster than is physically possible. We have shielded the planet from any communication and stopped all travel to and from there by sealing the planet in a singularity pocket. Essentially it no longer exists in our universe.
Through VR you will make contact with the locals who have no yet been affected. This is the safest way of investigating the nature of this planet's...transformation. In a way you are giving humanity hope-- hope that this world of hundreds of millions will not be lost forever, and that we do not need to lose our humanity in the process...
Please be advised that you may witness disturbing phenomenon. We do not know the origins, only that recent excavations on the planet's ruins may have released the disease. You will have the ability to enter the minds of people with whom you gain contact through the VR transmission; this will be essential to finding out exactly where the outbreak occurred and gathering data on it's nature. Exploring this situation through VR will keep you, and the rest of humanity safe. Please stand by for upload.

You see Dr. Rabinowitz' name coming up again. This time his work had taken on human trials. After a few months he was found out and shut down. Results were that a strange form of crystalline had built up in the bloodstream of test subjects. Some showed signs of psychic potential.

You find a room with exercise equipment. As you walk there you notice that your face feels tight and strange. it feels like something is changing with it.

You feel a shudder and suddenly you watch as your nose begins to get smaller and smaller. Your cheekbones are getting wider. And then your mouth begins to fill up with teeth, making it hard to keep your lips over them.

It stops, but your teeth seem to be a strange mix of slicing and piercing in design.

Your nose seems to be small and almost flat. You almost have a lizard-like appearance because of it.

The slithering things that hatched from you a while ago came back, swirling around your feet.

They went away again. Apparently they could be commanded by you, but without commands they come and go.

You see a pile of records in the corner, a small TV, a bench, and a really old poster of a ripped dude.

It doesn't talk about Dr. Rabinowitz. instead it talks about how an artificial intelligence was created to manage all experimentation on the planet. It talks about how there were only a few serious mistakes before the program became perfect. There is a reference to the installation of one of these computers on dr. rabinowitz's lab on ceres.

You see that the a.i. spoken about in the record is not a program in the computers. If it's connected to the computers, it's controlling them, rather than installed in them.
