Brukh is still getting used to these new powers that were given to him pretty out-of-the-blue by the previous heir to the Ancient Landorus' power, Maiyah. Until that very day, he had no idea that she picked him to take her power when it was time for her to move on! Now he's got big shoes to fill (not that he technically has feet... or could he do that form-change thing now? He doesn't know!) and he feels more than ever that he's gonna need Stroh by his side. Of course, now that he's Ascended he doesn't need Stroh's Soul Dew to keep his powers balanced, and it feels strange not having his friend connected to him like that anymore.

Brukh tries not to let his weaknesses show - physically, or emotionally. It's hard enough trying not to let the Bochenxi Empire push Rhyn around, even with Farlin there to serve as a distraction. His people have to work hard to keep their country running strong without bowing out and letting any other region take over. That means that they have to cover anything their potential enemies could exploit. He doesn't mean to come off as rude or unwilling to make friends - it's just how he was raised. You might be able to break through his tough, "everything's good" shell with a little - or maybe a lot - of effort and get to know the real guy. Be warned though, friends of the hardy Landorus are friends for life!

How he talks:
"Hey. ...Yeah, I'm from Rhyn. ...What, am I supposed to say more stuff? I'm just here as a visitor, and your Springs Attendant is just helping trade power to me before I head home. I'm not gonna act like we're friends when we're definitely not."

"Hah! As if anything's gonna bring down Rhyn. We're tougher than anyone you have out here. Even that roughed-up Flareon! ...With enough of us together. Maybe three of us could take him down. ...Me and Stroh only makes two. ...Annaes? That's... okay fine, maybe four! And what, are you trying to get an old lady into a fight? What's wrong with you?"

"...Look. I think I can trust you, so I'll admit it: I'm a little scared about this stuff. I mean it's a big deal turning into the next big god of whatever-in-the-world, even if it sounds as simple as growing crops like my people can. I can be tough, but I'm not thick enough to think I can take the whole world sitting on my back. Especially not with those damn Bochenxi riding on my home. So... I guess thanks for the advice. ...But don't tell anyone about this or I'll snap your neck."
