It doesn't take a keen eye to see that Bruno has seen more ferocious battles in his life than many others expect to see. Being the Raiders' lead combatant and someone who has fought to defend the borders of Farlin against invasions by the Bochenxi Empire, he is a tough and gritty soldier who has no patience for any careless or naive individuals working under the guild. Citizens are one thing, but anyone who expects to serve the guild and travel into dangerous territory like Mystery Dungeons needs to be cautious and well-trained, not carefree and still-in-training.

He answers to the orders given to him by his superiors, mainly the village leader Barley or Noryx, the Raiders' tactician. Whenever he isn't on duty with the guild, he will probably be on patrol for danger, checking on defenses around the country's towns and villages or searching for Ancient Pokémon whose powers are out of check. This gruff fellow may be old, but his fire hasn't burned down to embers yet and those who manage to stay on his good side will find a fierce and loyal warrior prepared to lay down his life to save the innocents of his country.

How he talks:
"You'd better lock this in your brain here and now, recruits, and don't ever forget it: we are not here to make friends, and we are not here for money. There is danger out there and the Raiders exist to protect our homes from it. Anybody who's just in this for fun had better leave now, because someday you're going to be in a spot where you can't take care of yourself and nobody will be around to save you, and you're gonna look even uglier than me."

"Follow my lead, and don't make a single misstep or I will send you back to Graham and Chief Barley to turn in your badge. Clear?"

"That Zuma has a lot of nerve to stick through a kidnapping without flinching. And that's not always a good thing. We have spies heading this way often enough. Imagine what happens when the Empire catches wind of something they shouldn't, just because somebody decided they were a good tough ally to rely on. Always be alert when you serve with the guilds. Always. You never know when your slip-up could hurt someone else."
