This wedding was one of many that took place while we visit the Meiji Shrine in Tokyo.The bride's white kimono is one of many outfits that she will wear throughout her wedding day. Most of what I have read states that she will change into a red kimono for the wedding reception. Before the end of the wedding events, the bride might change into a western style wedding gown.

Thanks. I believe the bride's kimono is one of many that she will wear throughout all of the bridal ceremonies. They are beautiful and very ornate. Here is a part of one from my husband's gallery. Folds . It was taken on the same day.

It is right around the corner from where the cosplay kids hang out. I agree, it is an awesome place. Lots to see and do. Especially when festivals are taking place.
