Description This is my transformers version of ''bahamut'' (from the ''final fantasy'' series). It was heavily inspired by ''megatron'' (from the ''transformers'' movie). It's fully rigged and can transform from a tank (vehicle mode) to a mecha (combat mode) and vice versa.

It was originally an old model I've reworked on lately, this time it's optimized and re-textured (unwrapped and painted). The final model contains around 140k polys, using 4x2048x2048 texture sheets, and some procedural maps.

The modeling, unwrapping, rigging, posing & animating all done in 3ds Max. Texture creation and post editing in Photoshop.

Holy shit man this fuckin model is sick! I'm busy rigging a Predator and I thought my shit was a nightmare. It's running at around 40k Polys for the model and armor combined but the hair alone is over 150k. I still need to retopo, but I'm still only learning. Weighting this thing must a been a huge bitch!!!!

thanks, well I believe ur model has its own difficulties because it's a combination of deformable and rigid parts, while mine are all rigid parts.. good luck then
